SEG Racing Academy is an U23 development team that competes at continental level with the aim of educating and developing riders to the next step. This unique structure has successfully moved to the pro ranks a total of 16 riders in just four years of existence. The development focus of the Academy does not solely apply to the riders but also to their partnerships, thanks to the constant feedback and cooperation that the team’s management offers.
On the partnership with INSCYD, Vasilis Anastopoulos, SEG Racing Academy Performance Manager says: “We are really happy about the partnership with INSCYD. INSCYD, on the other hand, has already been chosen by the most successful cycling teams in the professional peloton, like BORA-hansgrohe (winner of the Paris-Roubaix and the green jersey at the Tour de France in 2018 with Peter Sagan) and the Jumbo-Visma Cycling Team, that placed two of its riders – Primož Roglič and Steve Kruijswijk – 4th and 5th in the final General Classification of the 2018 Tour. All of their riders have been periodically tested by the teams’ coaches trough INSCYD.
